Demo 3 is released!
I really recomend that you restart the game, old saves are supported, but you'll be missing many of the new things..
Remember that this is a demo, and it has many flaws..
I have fixed some of the bugs that you reported (minor things, like map errors)
And some small changes to the menus:
The navigation + ok buttons is set to default, and you can only choose additional buttons, never remove them completely..
Up/down works in item selection, press the menu button to reach status menu, and press it again to go back..
The save button now shows a saving.. message
Save & exit has been added to the config menu..
Screen is refreshed more often to remove arrows and stuff that is outside..
Filesize is now 509k

the game is really nastollgic; however, the controls are very hard to get used to. the buttons seem to change every time i switch them, they dont seem to register with the game. that is my only complaint.

Graphics freeze when the hook is used more than three times (consecutively) in sequence with the sword.

Graphics freeze when the rain starts. (Turned rain and fog off)

Reminiscent of Zelda for NES (That is a big bonus)

Excellent with the aforementioned exceptions.

If you have a blackberry pearl you will need to set up your b button as one of the far buttons like your L or P key . this will allow you to use the arrows and bomb. however you cant buy arrows and bombs until you defeat the first few dungeons and obtain the bow to use the arrows with and the bag to hold up to 10 bombs. my only confusion came with my B button not working until i shifted it to my L key.

This game is arguably the best mobile game I played in recent time. It has all the aspects combined into one good game. However, I had a problem with the next task since I can't find the red dot located on the forest below the graveyard. Also, the game slows down when I enter the forest. I already managed to get the shield from the last red dot mission and the master sword from the graveyard. Anyways, other than those problems, this is an excellent game for a mobile phone. Having a blast with this game. To shoot the arrows you need to select the arrows in the menu screen. To shoot the arrows you need to press the B button that you configured as the second action button. I am trying to beat dungeon 4 and am having some trouble so if anyone has any input I would like some help. Thanks

Well I beat all the dungeons and got all 16 heart pieces and all 6 heart containers and I got the short sword, long sword, master sword, the bombs/bomb bag, the bow & arrow, the candle, big rupie bag, the blue tunic, the hookshot, the raft, mirror shield, and all the pieces of the triforce, and everything else you can possibly achieve in demo 3 and so when I beat dungeon 6, and I collect the last piece of the triforce, the game teleports me to the far northeast corner of the map where you can take your raft off to a little island, so I walk in thinking something special is going to be there, but theres nothing in the room, so I guess I didn't beat the game, but I beat the demo. :(

this game is sick ! cant wait for full version i dont know why you all had problems wit sound i had no problems at all for those who asked about bombs and arrows you gotta find them hidden in the dungeons just look for them they are there i really miss the sword when you had full health in the nes version if would send a flashing sword across the screen and for those asking about the red tunic its probably in the full version so relax i also miss the ferries that would fill your health all the way up remember them :) oh and not that i want them in the game but remember the spider bad guys that could jump on the rocks by the waterfall :)

I know where to find the candle!!!!!!!!!

In the dungeon with the dark room, you can see in some rooms with broken walls in it. If you drop a bomb next to the "broken" wall, there will be a gate.

I'm in the next dungeon but I can't go through a door because there's a "spikerock" for it, can anyone help me?

This game would be excellent even if I paid for it. The fact that it is free, makes it just that much better. You would have to look pretty hard to find a free game as good as this one.

The music and graphics in this game are top notch and couldn't be much better.

The only thing weak part of the game has been the sound effects to me. They don't sound very accurate and they stop the music from playing whenever I press the attack button. But it is probably cause my phone is not fully supported yet?

But I know this game still isn't finished yet and some of these problems will be fixed by the end. Either way this it's one of the best mobile games out there right now.

Changing the controls doesn't work completely. My down button will go right. Up button will go left. Very confusing.

Also very hard to play on my blackberry curve. The buttons are so close together to play comfortably. Still pretty good game for those with buttons that work better.

It was so fun! The only problem that I had was when it rain it's very very slow. Only by entering a room and coming back out to stop the rain the speed would be normal again. My phone is a BlackBerry Pearl. Anyhow I can't wait to play the full version!

Pearl doesn't function for movement and the keys to exit/back out from the application don't exit the game (music still plays when you're taking a call for instance). That being said, mad props for the effort and letting me recapture a part of my youth! Can not wait for the next version.

An excellent remake thats better than the original. the only problem i've seen so far is the shop wont let sell bombs. i can buy hearts and potions by walking over them but not for bombs or arrows.

Ok, new review. The game is still amazing but I think the last boss is quite hard to defeat - one because of course he is invisible, but it doesn't really show where you get hit from, just get pushed off to the side.

OK I love the game. A lot of fun and it keeps me busy for hours... but the save/continue is wacky because once you start a new game, it's impossible to go back to the prior save. Very upsetting when it happens.

question, the last zelda beta installed successfully and i finished the game alrdy...however beta 3 is a few times larger than the last one and it keeps giving me a java error that the file is too big even though i have enough memory on my phone...any suggestions?

Well this game excellent imo... I rated everything 10 except for the sound part.
For all the ppl who got stuck & asked 4 help on beta 3...
there is a red dot on the mini map when you play the game... it means that you should be there to collect an item or fight a boss or whatever...the green dot is your current location...
so my no.1 tip is:
ALWAYS GO TO THE RED DOT ON THE MINIMAP
the second tip?
well... go to config>game settings>dieing
change it to false and walaa! You have turned on the GOD MODE(you are still alive even if your hp is down to 0)
The b button problem can also be solved here.
And the third tip is for those who didn't bother to read the intro above throughly until later on...(like me haha)
